The Western Sydney Airport is underway with initial earthworks. Workfast is on the ground assisting with the move of 1.8 million cubic meters of earth. The entire Western Sydney Airport build will be Australia's largest earth moving project in history.
There are rough estimates of about a workforce of 180 to complete the early stages. Once major works commence the Western Sydney Airport will create 28,000 jobs locally and across Australia.
The Australian Government is investing $5.3 billion to deliver the project over the next 6 years.
