Veterans Employment
Workfast is committed to helping veterans get back to civilian employment. We provide expert advice, insights, and recommendations to our clients and veterans on program and service design, implementation, and evaluation. Some programs included:
- Working with the Inaugural Veterans Advisory Committee to provide advice, insights, and recommendations on program and service design, implementation, and evaluation
- Engaging with local communities to undertake community awareness programmes to showcase the variety of careers in the construction industry
- Creating awareness through with the Department of Veteran Affairs to promote social programs such as Veterans Health Week
- Partner with experienced non-for-profit organisations such as Mates4Mates and Soldier On
- Embedding equality into our culture, via our Code of Conduct and Values
- Providing veterans with a management mentor to support their development
As a team, we are committed to annually reviewing and further developing programs to assist veterans in getting back into civilian work.
